The exhaust system plays an important role in a vehicle’s performance. Not only is a vehicle’s exhaust system designed to make your vehicle run quieter, but it is also responsible for converting unfavorable gases to more eco-friendly gases. The muffler is responsible for reducing noises and the catalytic converter converts the gases emitted by the vehicle. The performance of your vehicle’s exhaust system can make all the difference in whether your vehicle passes emissions in the State of Colorado. Furthermore, it can affect the vehicle’s gas mileage and overall performance.

A problematic exhaust system is not always noticeable. Vehicles can still run normally, even when an exhaust system is failing. As a matter of fact, it is common for drivers to discover problems with their exhaust system only after visiting an emissions testing facility.
